HEALTH
Scholars should be in good health and capable of enjoying a vigorous course. Scholars should bring any special medication they may require. All medical or emotional conditions and medicines taken are to be documented on the application. If a scholar has been hospitalized anytime within the last year, this must be documented on the application. Non-disclosure or falsifying this information may lead to dismissal. A doctor’s letter of permission to attend may be requested. Check with your physician to be sure your medication does not require written permission in order to be brought into the U.K. Special arrangements can be made with a private medical practice for those who might need non-emergency treatment, such as allergy shots. The scholar will need to pay for any private care. Scholars are accompanied by the Director or their deputy for all medical visits. Please identify all medication sent over with your scholar on the application form. “My two daughters, Kristi and Liz Sather, have each gone to Cambridge for two summers. They both thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a great deal.
